American Airlines will launch new service from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport to five new markets next year, including year-round to Vancouver, Canada, and seasonally to Calgary, Canada. In the US, the carrier will add new seasonal service to Bangor, Maine; and Charleston and Myrtle Beach, S.C. The Chicago-Vancouver route launches May 4and will operate on Boeing 737-800 aircraft with business and economy cabins.

The seasonal daily service to Calgary will launch June 7 on an Embraer-175 aircraft, also with a business and main cabin configuration.
