American launched new service to Hong Kong from LAX

American Airlines launched its newest route to Hong Kong from Los Angeles on September 7, 2016.  The airlines is operating its Boeing 777-300ER with a Flagship First Class suite and Business Class cabin. 

Customers will receive a farm-to-flight menu with Cantonese dishes including traditional Dim Sum and more.  The plane also features a walk up bar stocked with snacks and refreshments.  In addition, passengers will receive Cole Haan amenity kits.

Daily departures from LAX leave at 1:55 a.m. arriving in Hong Kong at 8:10 a.m. the next day.  Flights depart from HKG at 8:20 p.m. and arrive in Los Angeles at 6:50 p.m.the same day. 

Chief marketing officer for American Airlines, Andrew Nocella said, “This route connects customers in Los Angeles with one of the world’s most important business markets and provides convenient connections to important business and leisure destinations across the Pacific.”
