British Airways’ A380 aircraft is debuting by flying the airline’s London-Los Angeles service. The aircraft is scheduled to touch down in Los Angeles this evening.

British Airways flies three flights daily from Los Angeles to London, and the aircraft will take over these operations.

The airline configured the aircraft with 469 seats including 14 in first, 97 in Club World, 55 in World Traveler Plus and 303 in World Traveler.

The First class suites offer 30 percent more space, turndown service, a la carte dining and champagne supper. Lie-flat beds are offered through Club World.

The aircraft offers more than 1,600 hours of in-flight entertainment along with a complimentary bar, three course meals, amenity kits and blankets for all passengers.

The Langham, London designed the new menu for those traveling in First and Club World. It includes a five-course tasting menu and afternoon tea.
