A new Carlson Wagonlit Travel survey shows that most business travelers are not adhering to their health and wellness regimens during business trips.

Business Travelers: Fitness Fails on the Road

The survey of more than 1,900 travelers from 16 countries showed that only 40 percent try to stick to their fitness routines when on the road and 54 percent acknowledge that their exercise and wellness routines are usually disrupted by travel. The survey also found that when it comes to getting as much rest as possible on business trips, 47 percent of Asia-Pacific-based business travelers said they did, against 36 percent from the Americas and 35 percent from Europe. Finally, 50 percent of business travelers from Asia-Pacific are likely to exercise on the road against 41 percent from the Americas and 40 percent from Europe.
