All 12 Wyndham Hotel Group brands will now carry the “by Wyndham” suffix. That includes iconic names like Super 8, Days Inn and Ramada, as well as Howard Johnson, Travelodge, AmericInn, Baymont, Dolce, Dazzler, Esplendor and Trademark – representing 7,074 properties globally. The goal, according to the company, is to encourage guest trial and enhance brand awareness throughout the portfolio.

"By Wyndham" Will Now Unite Brands Across Portfolio

Beginning April 16, the updated names and logos will appear across Wyndham’s digital placements from brand websites to mobile sites and third-party listings. The updates will progress around the world with an expected completion date of December 2022. This move, according to the company, is part of an evolution leading up to a spinoff as a pure-play hotel franchising and management company (Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Inc.), which is to occur later this quarter. The company’s Wingate, Microtel, Hawthorn Suites and TRYP brands already incorporate “by Wyndham” – and all the brands participate in the Wyndham Rewards loyalty program.
