China Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines sign codeshare agreement

China Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines have signed a codeshare agreement that will take effect later this year.

Hawaiian will place its booking code on China Airlines flights leaving Taipei for Honolulu on Sundays and Honolulu to Taipei flights on Mondays. It will also be on flights from Taipei to Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, and flights from Brisbane to Auckland and Sydney to Auckland. 

Passengers traveling on both airlines will be able to book and check-in with a single ticket. 

China Airlines will also place its code on Hawaiian Airlines flights leaving Taipei to Honolulu on Mondays and Fridays and Honolulu to Taipei on Sundays and Tuesdays. Passengers will also be able to reach Las Vegas, Phoenix, Portland, Sacramento, San Diego, San Jose and Seattle through Honolulu.
