Delta Airlines continues its partnership with Habitat for Humanity building homes for those in need.  This year the company will have built or rehab 227 homes in 12 countries around the world.

The builds this year are taking place in six cities in Delta’s hubs.  The project began September 7 and is slated to finish on November 17, 2016.

"Delta is invested in giving back and making a difference in the communities where our employees live, work and serve," said Tad Hutcheson, Delta's Managing Director – Community Affairs. "I am proud of our employees for donating their valued time and talents to help build homes in partnership with families from coast to coast."

This year each home has a unique story.  In Seattle, Delta employees are building the first home in a Habitat development designed for veterans.  In Minneapolis the home is funded through the on-board recycling program.

Thanks Delta for giving back in such a big way.
