FlightStats, a leading provider of real-time flight and other travel-related data, has announced the finalists in its 2012 On-time Performance Service (OPS) Awards. The annual OPS Awards recognize airlines around the world that deliver the highest percentage of flights to their arrival gates within 15 minutes of the scheduled arrival time.
FlightStats tracks the performance of nearly 150,000 flights operated and serviced by airlines around the world each day. To determine the finalists and winners of the OPS Awards, FlightStats examines flight status and arrival data broken out by service category or region. The statistics are aggregated from global sources including civil aviation authorities, airlines, airports and major airline reservation systems.
The winners of the 2012 Flightstats On-Time Performance Service Awards will be announced on February 19. For a complete listing of the finalists, visit flightstats-inc.com.
