JetBlue Airways and Hawaiian Airlines have begun a partnership that will allow for easy connections for the airlines’ passengers through LAX, where Hawaiian operates many flights.
The partnership will expand more June 5 when Hawaiian starts the only non-stop service between New York City and Hawaii. Airbus A330-200 249-seat aircraft will operate the service.
Flights will depart JFK at 10 a.m. daily and arrive in Honolulu at 3 p.m. Leaving Honolulu, flights will take off at 3:05 p.m. daily and arrive back in JFK at 6:55 a.m. the next day.
Hawaiian has plans to codeshare with JetBlue in the near future, and the airlines have agreed to reciprocal frequent flyer benefits.
