The Hilton Miami Airport has completed a $15-million renovation. Improvements include a new fitness center, guest elevators and hotel guestrooms.
Guestrooms now boast sustainable features that should support energy efficiency. The new décor has a natural, earth-tone palette with dark wood. Many have views of the city’s skyline. All rooms feature 37-inch HD flat screen televisions, MP3-compatible alarm clocks and spa-like bathrooms with enclosed showers stocked with Peter Thomas Roth amenities and neutral ceramic tile.
The gym now has floor-to-ceiling windows that allow guests to take in the views of the surrounding nature. New equipment by Precor can connect and charge an iPhone, iPod, iPod Touch and other devices.
The lobby bar will be completed in the late summer with upgrades and a new design as part of the hotel’s overall three-year, $3-billion plan.
