Hilton San Francisco Union Square – Golden Gate Bridge View Room Tour

I really like the Hilton San Francisco Union Square.

It’s very centrally located, about a block from Union Square.

The high-rise hotel has some amazing views from its rooms and suites. I just visited the property a week ago and stayed in one of their Skyline Luxury Suites, looking eastward towards the Financial District. This time, I stayed in a Golden Gate Bridge View Room (1-4079) which faced west, with a view of the iconic bridge and the buildings of San Francisco.

Although the room had no balcony, the sweeping views of the city and the hills and bay beyond were truly spectacular.

The hotel is made up of two towers, I was in Tower 1 on the 40th floor. There is also a separate Hilton-owned property a block away, called Parc 55, which shares access and amenities with the main Hilton hotel. The Hilton has a large, outdoor pool and pool deck, something rare for San Francisco hotels. If your room doesn’t have a view, head upstairs to Cityscape, the hotel’s rooftop bar and lounge with amazing views. There’s also a lobby bar which can be crowded. This is a large hotel and hosts a lots of meetings and conventions. One tip, join Hilton Honors (their loyalty points program) before visiting for priority check-in and free Wi-Fi (among other benefits and amenities).

I was in San Francisco to attend the global launch of the amazing new Audi e-tron electric SUV. It’s the automaker’s first purely electric vehicle and they really took the time to make it an Audi that just happens to be powered by electricity. You get the brand’s build quality, creative design and driving experience.
