Hilton Sydney unveils revamped executive lounge
The Hilton Sydney has upgraded its executive lounge facilities, increasing the floor space by 60 per cent and adding private alcoves and a redesigned boardroom.
The refurbishment project is part of a A$7 million (£4.6 million) upgrade of the hotel's lounge and guest rooms.
The revamped lounge now seats up to 120 guests, with a range of communal and private seating options, and a larger boardroom accommodating up to 12 guests and offering views across Sydney.
The lounge’s dining offering has also been expanded, with the introduction of a coffee/juice bar which becomes a serviced bar in the evenings, and menus featuring a range of dishes including Spanish antipasti to Japanese and fresh seafood.
Guests staying in executive rooms, relaxation rooms and suites have access to the new executive lounge, which also offers complimentary continental breakfast, refreshments and evening drinks and canapés.
The Hilton Sydney is located on George Street in the city’s central business district.

One of the best-equipped, best-managed, well-stocked and comfortably relaxing lounges in the entire Hilton family. The boardroom (when I had it in Aug 2008) was fabulous, with very helpful staff. One by the name of Paul.
A great place. Except in the "trough' hours when many guests let the human side down with their relentless and crass greed but you can't blame a Hilton for the local customers. You have to take them in their stride in those Hiltons with a local clientele, like Sydney, Manchester, LAX ...
I hope to check out the EL in Sydney again soon.

Glad to see it expanded...it was a bit crowded before. Still I agree it was one of the best EL's in the chain. Not sure about your reference to local customers...I've been to the LAX EL many times and never seen a problem.
As United States EL's don't offer comp drinks, they are usually pretty laid back. Actually the craziest I've ever seen is Amsterdam airport.
