Following Hyatt Times Square debut in December, Bar 54 opens on Valentines Day to offer towering views of the New York skyline for guests and the cocktail crowd.

Views from the 54th floor can only be described as stunning.  Participating in a private preview, the 54th floor serves as restaurant, lounge, mixology haven of cocktails and spirits or just simply said, a destination in itself.

The lounge takes advantage of the breathtakingly views which span beyond the East River to the Hudson River.

The lounge takes advantage of the breathtakingly views which span beyond the East River to the Hudson River.  Guests and cocktail-goers will also enjoy the unique patio well above the hustle of Times Square.  Outside, cozy outdoor fireplaces counterbalance the expansive views and at night, the twinkle and glow from Times Square below creates an intimate ambiance. Inside Bar 54, the mirror-polished ceiling panels draw natural light into the space, and at night, reflect the twinkling of the fireplace, colors of the sun setting and city lights.

Bar 54 is a 122-seat indoor/outdoor lounge serving specialty cocktails, fine wines and a selection of small plates.  Guests and cocktail-goers will enjoy renowned mixologist Julie Reiner’s spirits list and cocktail menu for the rooftop lounge, Bar 54, as well as the hotel’s street side restaurant, T-45 Diner.

Yes, that is 45 and not 54.  You are not seeing a typo.  The address is on 45th street so the street side dining is T-45 Diner.  The lounge is on the 54th floor so Bar 54. Clever in my book

As tastes, sights and sounds can only be imagined, I suggest visiting the Hyatt Times Square for a first hand experience.
