IHG has signed agreements for three new Holiday Inn Express hotels in Colombia. The hotels will be located in Bogota, Cartagena and Barranquilla.

The properties, which are expected to open in 2014, will increase IHG’s portfolio in Colombia by 450 rooms.

The Holiday Inn Express Bogota OXO 67th will be part of a mixed-use complex that will be composed of an office tower, hotel tower and retail on the ground floor. The 100-guestroom hotel will be seven stories.

The new 150-story, 200-guestroom Holiday Inn Express Cartagena will be near restaurants, shops, cafes and bars and have a business center, pool and fitness center.

The 18-story, 150-guestroom Holiday Inn Express Barranquilla will be within walking distance to high-end boutiques, shops and restaurants and also feature a business center, pool and fitness center.
