UAL in BusinessFirst from San Francisco to Singapore

United is currently the only carrier offering direct flights to Singapore from the US. Contributor Freddy Sherman gives you a tour of the BusinessFirst seat featured on the 787 Dreamliners used for the route.

On assignment for Business Traveler, I had a chance to fly on United'sinaugural flight from SFO to Singapore as they launched what is the only direct US flight. All the other carriers stop mainly in Tokyo or Hong Kong. The daily non-stop flight takes between 16 and 18 hours (depending on route and weather) and is the longest flight in the world on a 787 Dreamliner and the longest flight in the world operated by a US carrier. I enjoyed the BusinessFirst cabin and I am a big fan of the 787 as it offers a much better flight experience for passengers. You can read my full review of the flight here and in the July / August issue of the magazine.
