Starwood’s Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts has made its debut in Poland with the Hotel Bristol in Warsaw following a multi-million dollar renovation.

The 168-guestroom, 38-suite hotel is located next to the Presidential Palace and on the Royal Route. Igancy Paderewski, a composer, piano virtuoso and former Polish prime minister, originally founded Hotel Bristol in 1901.

The interior of the guestrooms and suites is decorated in an ivory and blue palette with charcoal and ebony furnishings. Art Deco accents are used throughout the design.

The lobby has deep-buttoned armchairs, marbled walls and antiqued mirrors meant to remind guests of its historic roots. A restored chandelier sheds light onto a display of palm trees and flowers in the lobby.

Guests can unwind ad Advinture, the wine bar. The Column Bar serves signature cocktails and hosts an annual New Year’s Eve Ball.

For dining, guests can venture to the Marconi Restaurant for Polish and Mediterranean cuisine. A quick pick-me-up can be found at the Café Bristol, which serves coffee and patisserie.

The hotel also features a fitness area with an indoor pool and gym and a spa offering massages.
