Tru by Hilton shares its newest prototype featuring upgrades to the guestrooms, the lobby design, and the “Top It” breakfast.  The changes are based on guest feedback.

“Every great brand continually evolves,” said Alexandra Jaritz, global head, Tru by Hilton. “And, as a new brand with a ‘disruptive’ strategy, we felt the need to evolve faster and better than most. We heard from owners and guests that we had nearly all things right with the Tru by Hilton concept. But, as with any new product, we needed to make a few adjustments, which have proven during beta tests to be overwhelmingly popular with our guests and owners. Fortunately, we are at a point in our growth as a brand in which we’re able to quickly and nimbly incorporate learnings from our 24 open properties, and further refine, value-engineer and generally improve the overall prototype concept.”

When you enter the lobby at a Tru property, guests will continue to enjoy the signature spaces – Eat, Work, Lounge and Play.  The new prototype will feature a sectional sofa instead of the existing stadium-style seating in order to crate a clearer line between the game area and the TV watching section.

Guestrooms will receive additional lighting both by the bedside and the workspace.  Stow and go storage options will be added with additional hanging capacity.  And a new mobile desk and media area will complete the changes.  The mobile desk will be retrofitted to existing properties giving guests more flexible space.

Breakfast – always the most important meal of the day -- will receive an upgrade too.  Guests are looking for more protein and hot breakfast items.  The whole station has improved with graphics and more to focus on guest’s needs.

It’s amazing to see how quickly this brand has taken off and grown and now is adapting to its customer base.
