Virgin America, Singapore Airlines enter frequent flyer partnership

Virgin America and Singapore Airlines have expanded their codeshare agreement to include a frequent flyer partnership.

Members of either loyalty program may earn and redeem points for travel on both airlines.

Singapore Airlines’ PPS Club members and KrisFlyer members may earn Kris Flyer miles while flying Virgin America and those miles may be used for award travel on Virgin America. Members of Elevate, Virgin America’s program, may also earn miles when flying Singapore Airlines and redeem those miles for award travel on Singapore Airlines. 

This news comes three months after the launch of the airlines’ codeshare agreement in December 2012.
