Jerry Ruud is new to the publication business but has been an elite entrepreneurial business traveler since 1993. He has over 1 million miles flown and over 1900 nights spent in various hotels and resorts around the world. Traveling to 25 countries (Brazil was the last one) over his career, he is the prototypical reader of Business Traveler.
Jerry started working in the packaging industry on the West Coast prior to relocating in 1999 to New Jersey where he now resides with his wife Denise of 24 years and his two college age daughters, Erika and Brittney. He spent 18 years with Berry Plastics in various roles including the Vice President of the Personal Care Business Unit and General Manager of the Tube Division. He also spent 5 years with Worldwide Packaging as their Executive Vice President of Global Sales helping the company to successful transition the company from Shoreview Capital Partners to Bain Capital in 2018.
In addition to being the Managing Director of Business Traveler, Jerry also is the founder of Grateful Packaging LLC. Jerry completed a BA from Concordia University Irvine and a MBA from Pepperdine University. He is active in his church, enjoys golf and drives a fully restored 1966 Kombi split seat 15 Window Microbus (weather permitting).
