Accor has announced the opening of the Pullman Lima Miraflores, the second hotel under its business-oriented Pullman brand in Peru’s capital city Lima. The 237-room property joins the Pullman Lima San Isidro as the second hotel under the brand in Peru.
Located in the city’s upmarket Miraflores district, the new-build hotel features executive floors, a fitness center and swimming pool, six meeting rooms, two restaurants and a rooftop overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
The property, which Accor bills as “a 100 percent sustainable hotel concept,” features a green roof, and uses LOW E glass “that filters the entry of ultraviolet rays, reducing heat so the air conditioning consumption is much lower.”
The Pullman brand, which had been merged into the Sofitel portfolio back in 1993, was revived by Accor nearly 15 years ago. Currently the brand has 145 hotels in operation and a further 47 in the pipeline.
“The opening of the second Pullman in Peru is part of the brand’s expansion plan in South America and which, on this occasion, offers the perfect combination of the avant-garde concept with the modern and disruptive touch of its architecture,” Milagros Calderon, general manager, Pullman Lima Miraflores, said,
“The Pullman Lima Miraflores hotel brings with it a 100 percent sustainable infrastructure, thanks to the implementation of a green roof and the use of thermally efficient materials.”
