AccorHotels and SBE Launch House of Originals

AccorHotels and SBE Entertainment Group, which got married last year when Accor took a 50 percent stake in SBE, has announced the arrival of the couple’s newest, most luxurious offspring – House of Originals. House of Originals will initially comprise five of SBE’s top properties: the Sanderson and St Martins Lane in London, 10 Karakoy in Istanbul, and the Shore Club in Miami Beach.

Sam Nazarian, founder and CEO of SBE, said: “With five new hotels in the pipeline and an exciting pipeline underway in key gateway cities such as Dubai, London and Paris, this brand brings a new lifestyle flavor into the Accor portfolio.” Nazarian, acknowledged that the plethora of brands in the hotel industry was “organized chaos” for consumers but House of Originals would ultimately be a boon for travelers.

“The choices in food and beverage and curated experiences that House of Originals will bring, along with the loyalty options of Accor, will be game-changing for travelers,” he said, adding that “hundreds” of properties in the Accor pipeline would be seeking admission into the collection. “We give hotels who want to join the group options that are built in, that are not from outside, creating an outstanding F & B experience, which is the backbone of a unique hotel stay.”
