Luxury hotels and resorts group Aman and specialty shipping provider Luggage Free have announced a partnership to “streamline the journey” by transporting guests’ baggage from their home “to any Aman property”.
The collaboration is designed to minimize the time guests spend at the airport, thus making their travel experience more hassle-free.
Guests will be able to ship luggage of any shape and size to any of the group’s destinations ahead of their stay. Luggage Free delivers in over 110 countries, including every destination in the Aman portfolio.
Luggage Free also handles such valuable items as golf clubs, skis, snowboards and bicycles. These can either be picked up from a guest’s home or picked up from pro-shops or ski lodges for transport to the designated Aman resort or hotel.
To set up shipping, guests can visit the website here to enter details, receive an instant quote and process the order, or they can opt to have the hotel’s support team to take care of the request when booking a reservation.
Luggage will then be retrieved from the guest’s home, office or hotel and delivered to the property before the guest arrives. The service includes complimentary real-time tracking and guaranteed on-time delivery. The website recommends that guests should choose a delivery date 1 to 2 business days prior to arrival at the destination.
The hotel group takes care of shipping labels and any customs documents, and contactless collection services can also be arranged.
