All Nippon Airways has launched a new website feature that offers comprehensive information on COVID-19 testing, hotel accommodation and private transportation for all international travelers entering Japan.

The website makes it possible for those arriving from abroad to find all the necessary support for a safe quarantine when they enter Japan. ANA’s quarantine packages, which are available through its website, will include options for accommodation at hotels located near both Haneda and Narita airport as well as options for car rentals and COVID testing.

Under current guidelines, all inbound passengers to Japan, including Japanese nationals, must test negative for COVID-19 within 72 hours of their departure. Upon arrival, all are required to quarantine for 14 days, although citizens of Japan may complete their quarantine period at home, provided they show a negative result on a second test.

Incoming travelers are prohibited from using public transportation both upon their arrival and during their quarantine period. Arriving travelers staying for more than eight days will be provided with ANA’s first-class amenity kits.

Citing the continued impact of border restrictions and quarantine measures, ANA recently announced the suspension or reduction of service on a number of international routes. When the airline begins it summer schedule on March 28, the carrier’s services from Tokyo Narita to New York, San Francisco, and Taipei are being dropped.

The Star Alliance carrier has also postponed the launch of new routes from Tokyo Haneda to Istanbul, Milan, Moscow, San Jose, and Stockholm, until October 31 at the earliest. In addition, the airline says it will also reduce services from Tokyo Haneda to Bangkok, Los Angeles, and Sydney.
