Michael Alpiner is the Associate Publisher of Business Traveler Magazine as well as a contributing writer for Forbes.com. He is also a published poet and a professor of writing . He earned a BA in English, an MA in Education, and an MFA in Creative Writing. He has reported on Irish cuisine and culture for The New York Post (with Gretchen Kelly) for the St. Patrick’s Day feature. Michael ran poetry events at Barnes and Noble, served as Writer-in-Residence at The Louis Armstrong Museum, and was a manuscript judge for Alice James Books. His work appears in print and online journals, as well as in anthologies such as Blood to Remember: American Poets After the Holocaust (2007).
