Corinthia Hotels to open first property in Middle East, in Dubai

The hotel brand seeks to expand its portfolio with new landmark properties in exotic locales

Corinthia is expected to open its first Middle East property next year and this signature regional footprint will be an ambitious beachfront resort on Dubai’s prestigious Meydan Beach.

Working in partnership with Meydan Group, Corinthia Meydan Beach will be located within Dubai Marina, overlooking a pristine stretch of white sand and sea. The 55-story hotel will be home to 360 rooms and suites and will have cascading infinity pools, the region’s first ESPALife Spa and memorable culinary experiences. Rooms and spaces will open to views that take in the Dubai Eye and Palm Jumeirah.

The existing Corinthia portfolio features the flagship Corinthia London, as well as award-winning Corinthia Hotels in Budapest, Malta, St Petersburg, Prague, Lisbon, Khartoum and Tripoli. Properties are inspired by its Mediterranean, family-run heritage, and focus on providing excellent experiences and service. Founded in Malta in 1962, there are now nine elegant properties worldwide, with four more landmark hotels opening by 2021.

Meydan Group aims to link the world with the Emirate of Dubai through international equestrian events and a range of commercial developments, including hospitality, sports, entertainment, state-of-the-art business parks, residential villa communities, world-class educational and medical facilities, business towers with luxury waterfront developments and contemporary shopping destinations.
