Hilton has announced plans for the EOS Tulum, Curio Collection by Hilton, set to open in 2023 on Mexico’s Riviera Maya. The 250-room new-build property will be located within walking distance of the Tulum ruins and the beaches of Paraiso and Santa Fe.

The hotel will feature “a variety of dining experiences, including full-service specialty restaurants, unique bar concepts and a chic sky lounge.” Other amenities include a spa, fitness center, paddle ball court, mini golf course, “multiple outdoor pools located throughout the resort,” and around 2,150 square feet of meeting space.

Hilton’s Curio Collection portfolio, which launched in 2014, offers more than 90 properties worldwide, including its first in Mexico, the Umbral, which opened in 2019. Housed in a restored heritage building in downtown Mexico City, the hotel overlooks the city’s landmark buildings, including the Metropolitan Cathedral, the County Hall and El Palacio de Hierro Department Store.

Other current Mexican locations for Curio include Guadalajara, Merida, Monterrey and Playa del Carmen.

“It is an exciting time of growth for Curio Collection, particularly in the Caribbean and Latin America, as we look to open more handpicked, one-of-a-kind properties, including the most recent additions to the Collection in Monterrey, Mexico and Cartagena, Colombia,” said Jenna Hackett, global brand head, Curio Collection by Hilton.
