Davidson Hotels Launches Resort Division

The new portfolio will specialize in distinctive resorts “from the slopes to the seas”

Hospitality management company Davidson Hotels & Resorts has launched Davidson Resorts, an operating division specializing in large-scale properties with multiple food and beverage options, retail, and leisure activities such as golf, spa, skiing and water sports.

Davidson Resorts begins with 11 existing properties assembled from the management company’s other divisions in anticipation of the resort group’s debut.

Properties now include the historic Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, MI, the Paradise Point Resort & Spa in San Diego, California, the Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort in Hawaii and Florida properties Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort in Hollywood, and Don CeSar in St. Pete Beach.

The resort division also includes additional properties in Orlando, Palm Springs, and ski resorts in Colorado. Expansion will focus on domestic additions while exploring international markets including Mexico and the Caribbean.

Davidson Hospitality Group is a management company which includes 61 existing hotels and resorts, more than 120 restaurants, bars, and lounges and nearly 1.5 million square feet of meeting space across the US.
