Marriott International has announced the opening of the Delta Hotels by Marriott Santa Clara Silicon Valley, the first property to feature the Delta Hotels brand’s new room design.
The hotel, which offers 263 rooms featuring the new design concept, is the first Delta Hotels property in Northern California. Design elements include “a bright, neutral palette with rich yet unobtrusive accents of color,” with a headboard wall that highlights large format artwork, “reinforcing the brand’s design concept of simplified forms.”
The refurbished property, which was formerly the Biltmore Hotel Santa Clara, has a full service restaurant and bar, all-American breakfast restaurant Zin Café and a coffee shop. Amenities include a heated swimming pool, a fitness center, and 8,000 square feet of meeting and events space.
The property is located close to Santa Clara Convention Centre and the Levi Stadium, and around three miles from Mineta San Jose International airport.
Marriott acquired the Canadian Delta Hotels brand in 2015, and has since grown the brand to a portfolio of around 100 four-star hotels worldwide, including nearly 50 properties in the US alone.
Commenting on the new opening and refreshed room design, said:
“We are delighted to welcome this new hotel into the Delta Hotels family,” said Jennifer Connell, vice president and global brand leader, Delta Hotels by Marriott. “Silicon Valley is the perfect destination to showcase our new approach to the guest room, delivering a meaningful design together with premium details for quality, bright optimism, and a sense of home.”
