Emirates, Barclays Launch Exclusive Skywards Miles Campaign

Offer focuses on Tier Miles for all purchases with Emirates Skywards card through 2021, plus new signer bump

Emirates Skywards loyalty program from Emirates and flydubai is working with Barclays in launching an offer for U.S.-based Emirates Skywards Mastercard cardmembers. The Tier Miles and Skywards Miles campaign runs through December 31 and is valid on all purchases, including online shopping, utility bill payments, groceries, educational fees, and much more.

With travel restrictions still in place due to COVID-19, the loyalty program remains agile and flexible – introducing more ways to earn Tier Miles on the ground, in addition to flying with Emirates and flydubai.

Fast-Tracking Loyalty Rewards Campaign

Earn one Tier Mile for every four Skywards Miles with the Emirates Skywards Mastercard. Use the card to “fast-track” to the next Tier, unlocking such benefits as bonus Skywards Miles while flying Emirates and flydubai, using Emirates lounge access, priority check-in, complimentary seat selection, additional baggage allowance, and other privileges. For a limited time, newly eligible Emirates Skywards Mastercard cardmembers can also enjoy up to 60,000 bonus Skywards Miles. Emirates Skywards Rewards World Elite Mastercard cardmembers can earn 50,000 bonus Miles after spending $3,000 in the first 90 days of enrollment. Emirates Skywards Premium World Elite Mastercard cardmembers can earn 60,000 bonus Miles after spending $3,000 in the first 90 days of enrollment.

Cardmembers can also increase their Skywards Miles and Tier Miles rewards bank when spending on hotel, car rental, retail and lifestyle partners, especially through skywardsmilesmall.com and Emirates Skywards Hotels. In return, Skywards Miles can be redeemed for an extensive range of rewards, including flight tickets with Emirates and partner airlines, upgrades, hotel stays and “money-can’t-buy” experiences.

“Since the start of the pandemic, Emirates Skywards quickly adapted to offer members more flexibility during this challenging time,” said Dr. Nejib Ben Khedher, divisional senior vice president, Emirates Skywards. “We were one of the first in the world to extend members’ Tier status until 2022 and are now offering our members new ways to fast-track to the next Tier status by earning Tier Miles on all purchases with the Emirates Skywards Mastercard.”

The validity of any Skywards Miles due to expire since April 2020 has been further extended until the end of the year as well.
