With a Eurail Global Pass, travelers of all ages gain entry to 31 countries and cultural hubs via railways accessing more than 40,000 European cities. Unlike traditional train tickets, Eurail tickets have no time and destination restrictions. Some trains do ask for a reservation to be made, but most trains can be boarded as easily as climbing aboard and flashing a Pass.

Suggested Eurail Itineraries:
Bavaria, Germany – The breathtaking Neuschwanstein Castle feels like it’s out of a fairytale, especially with all the beautiful fall foliage surrounding it. To get there, take a 2.5-hour regional Bavarian train from Munich and then a bus up to the castle.
Lake Bled, Slovenia – This region includes a crystal clear lake with a mountainous backdrop and a small island with its own little church. This area is one of the hidden gems of European fall foliage. Take a day trip to Bled from Ljubljana, the Slovenian capital. Catch a 50-minute train to Lesce Bled, then a short bus ride to the lake itself.
The Highlands, Scotland – Engulfing Celtic forests, lochs, and scenery right out of Outlander and Harry Potter, the Cairngorms National Park is at the center of the Highlands. The Highlands can be accessed from Aviemore, less than 2.5 hours from Edinburgh, or from Fort William, around four hours from Glasgow.
