Flight Review – Norwegian Premium – LGW to LAX
My most recent trip to London was my first time flying in Norwegian's Premium cabin.
Somewhere between Premium Economy and Business Class, it’s a great value at under $2,000 round-trip between most U.S. cities and their many European destinations.
I flew on one of their daily, direct flights between LAX and LGW. Here’s a quick flight review video and seat tour I filmed while waiting to take-off at LGW for my return flight home.
Norwegian’s U.S. service is done on newish 787 Dreamliners, and in-flight service is good from the young, attentive cabin crew. Food is OK but the overall meal service was disappointing as it was all served in cardboard boxes with plastic utensils. Food and drinks are free in the Premium cabin. There is in-seat entertainment with a decent selection of films and TV shows. I recommend trying to get a seat in the front row as the seats, old-style Business Class seats, recline rather far back and can intrude into the personal space of the row behind. Norwegian Premium passengers get lounge access both at LAX (OneWorld lounge) and at Gatwick. Here’s a tour of the Clubrooms lounge at LGW.
