Hilton Honors has announced it is rolling over all elite qualifying nights earned in 2020 into 2021. In the latest move to shore up its loyalty program in response to COVID-19, Honors members will see nights earned for stays between January 1 and December 31, 2020 carry over into 2021.

Normally, members’ elite qualifying night totals would reset to zero at the end of the status year, but under the new rules a member with, for example, 10 nights at the end of 2020 will have that total in the Hilton Honors account at the start 2021.

The move is part of Hilton’s strategy to woo guests, including extending status privileges and the group’s flexible cancellation policy, and launching the chain-wide CleanStay program, including EventReady health and safety protocols.
