Hilton has announced the opening of a dual-branded Hampton and Homewood Suites property in Indianapolis. The structure combines a new building with the existing Bethel AME Church which dates to 1869.
Together the two hotels a total of 231 rooms (123 Hampton rooms and 108 Homewood rooms and suites). Guests enter the property through the three-story church building, and the property features 11,000 square feet of events space, an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, an outdoor rooftop patio with fire pits. A Starbucks and a McAlister’s Deli are set to open later this year.
The development is located on Indianapolis Canal Walk across from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, in the city’s Canal and White River State Park Cultural District.
Homewood Suites guests benefit from a complimentary managers reception on Wednesday evenings, while guests of both hotels enjoy complimentary breakfast.
The Hampton by Hilton brand currently counts over 2,700 properties in 32 countries, while Homewood Suites is part of the group’s all-suites portfolio which hit a milestone 1,000 properties in 2018. The brand has over 520 locations across the US, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean.
