This is the first aircraft of the 150 the company has on order. The Mumbai-based airline is hinging part of its growth strategy on the new aircraft

The improved economics and efficiency as well as the passenger pleasing features of the MAX will enable us to strengthen our position as India’s premier airline.”
The Boeing sales team is also delighted with the delivery.
