JetBlue has launched new routes from Miami for the first time, offering daily nonstop service between Miami International Airport and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport, Boston Logan International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport.

Services between Miami and New York, Boston and Newark operate throughout the day with departures in each direction using its Airbus A320 aircraft.

The twice-daily flights between Miami and Los Angeles operates aboard the airline’s A321 aircraft featuring JetBlue’s newly redesigned Mint premium service.

The airline says the new service to Miami International Airport advances its focus city growth strategies in the Northeast and on the West Coast, a key component of the carrier’s strategic alliance with American Airlines which received government approval last month.

In addition, the Miami services will further expand its presence in Florida, and introduce a new, high-demand market to JetBlue’s large customer bases in New York, Boston and Los Angeles, according to the airline.
