Kempinski Hotels Heralds Spring in Istanbul

Celebrating its 30th anniversary under the management of Kempinski Hotels, the legendary hotel Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul is welcoming the first blossoms of spring with experiential outdoor activities. Berthold – a Brand-new Pop-up Venue

Another exciting outdoor venue on warm spring evenings is the new pop-up “Berthold” in the Palace gardens set against the backdrop of the Bosphorus. Named after Berthold Kempinski, founder of Kempinski Hotels and one of Berlin’s more innovative restaurateurs in the early years of the 20th century, this three-wheeler food cart was rebuilt with special parts from abroad to relate the story of Kempinski with a modern twist. Now it offers Turkish wines by the glass, sourced from local boutique wineries from all around Turkey, was well as a selection of deli meats and cheese varieties, various sandwiches, or hot dogs.
