New Dazzling Destination Attraction to Open at Changi

An indoor magical rainforest park awaits passengers

Jewel Changi Airport (Jewel), a multi-dimensional tourist destination, will open its doors to the world on April 17 and the new venue is expected to drop some jaws.

The aviation, travel and lifestyle facility for international visitors to Singapore will be presenting some unusual ways to stay and play before and between heading out on international flights.

Designed by a consortium spearheaded by Safdie Architects and world renowned architect Moshe Safdie, Jewel will feature a distinctive 10-storey dome-shaped façade made of glass and steel. The cathedral dome will enshroud a massive four-story live Forest Valley and majestic “Rain Vortex” at the center of the complex, surrounded by more than 280 retail stores and eateries and all directly connected to Changi Airport’s terminals. The 130-foot cascading waterfall will mark the world’s tallest indoor waterfall.

Passengers will also enjoy the convenience of early check-in for their flights with large and small baggage storage facilities at Jewel.
