New Nobu Hotel to Open in London, July 2020

Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, the latest in the Nobu hospitality brand, will feature 249-rooms and suites overlooking a prominent corner of Marylebone’s Portman Square. It will be bringing Nobu Berkeley Street restaurant into the fold Square along with a bar and outdoor terrace, plus a 600-person ballroom, gym, wellness facilities, and meeting spaces.

Continuing a 15-year legacy of exceptional culinary experiences, the Nobu Restaurant at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square will offer the flagship’s signature handcrafted approach to cuisine and service into a brand-new space.

The hotel is owned and in development by L+R Hotels, a group renowned for its portfolio of some of the world’s most respected and prestigious hotels and resorts, including Cliveden House, Fairmont Monte Carlo, and Chewton Glen. Nobu Hotel London Portman Square marks the third collaboration between L+R Hotels and Nobu Hospitality, following the successful launches of Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay and Nobu Restaurant Monte Carlo.

Rooms and suites by MAKE Architects echo a distinct character at the hotel, primarily influenced by Japanese minimalist aesthetic and complemented by moments of bold artistic expression.

Nobu Hotel London Portman Square is located in vibrant Marylebone near shopping streets and some of London’s best-loved parks. Music lovers will recognize Wigmore Hall, one of the world’s top recital venues, which is located close to the hotel on Wigmore Street. Art aficionados will appreciate the Wallace Collection of paintings, furniture and porcelain, found nearby in a beautiful townhouse in Manchester Square.
