Rome is set to welcome the new Nobu Hotel and Restaurant Roma, Nobu Hospitality’s first hotel in Italy, scheduled to open in summer 2022. The property is a transformation of the Grand Hotel Via Veneto, featuring 122 rooms and suites across two 19th century buildings on the city’s legendary Via Veneto.
The new Nobu Hotel is a collaboration between Nobu Hospitality – the luxurious brand founded by chef Nobu Matsuhisa, actor Robert De Niro and director Meir Teper – and Carlo Acampora, chairman and CEO of the Grand Hotel Via Veneto.
Amenities include a green-rooftop terrace, indoor and outdoor meeting space, a full-service spa, a fitness center and an exclusive club lounge. The hotel will also be home to the city’s second Nobu restaurant, which will also offer 24-hour in-room dining.
The location on the Via Veneto puts the hotel a short walk from attractions such as the Villa Borghese and the Trevi Fountain. It will house along with

The Nobu Hospitality portfolio currently includes 13 hotels. Last year the group opened hotels in Chicago and Warsaw, and plans to add further properties in destinations including Hamburg, Marrakech and Tel Aviv.
