Second Sheraton Opens in Hong Kong

The Sheraton Hong Kong Tung Chung is a ten-minute drive from Hong Kong International airport and Asia-World Expo

Marriott International has announced the opening of its second Sheraton hotel in Hong Kong. The Sheraton Hong Kong Tung Chung is situated atop T-Bay in Tung Chung, which offers a variety of restaurants, bars and shops, and is a ten-minute drive from Hong Kong International airport and Asia-World Expo.

The new property offers 218 rooms and suites featuring full-length windows with views of the mountain and the sea, high-speed WiFi and premium bath products.

Dining venues include Sunset Grill, a rooftop “temple to dry-aged meats,” modern Chinese restaurant Yue, a lobby lounge with artisan coffee from local brand Porter Coffee, and all-day dining spot Café Lantau, which features local and international dishes served at live stations.

The executive lounge is open to executive floor guests and Marriott Bonvoy Platinum members, which offers complimentary breakfast, and happy hour drinks and canapés.

The hotel also has a 24-hour fitness center, a swimming pool, and a kids’ playroom. For meetings and events, the property offers a ballroom which can accommodate 1,300 guests, plus four meeting rooms and two outdoor terraces.

The new hotel will join the Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel and Towers in Tsim Sha Tsui, and the St Regis Hong Kong, which opened last year as Marriott’s 7,000th property. The group also intends to open the city’s first Four Points by Sheraton in Tung Chung in early 2021.
