Service to Brussels Coming From Primera Air

Primera Air, a Danish ultra-low-cost carrier, will begin flights from Brussels to Newark, Boston and Washington Dulles next spring.

Primera’s flights between Brussels and Newark will begin May 9. The carrier will also begin three-times-weekly service to Washington and four-times-weekly service to Boston on June 2.

A former charter carrier, Primera began US service in April and currently flies from Boston and Newark to London Stansted and Paris Charles de Gaulle; its Washington-London service starts Aug. 23. The carrier will operate the flights with Boeing 787 Dreamliners equipped with economy and premium economy cabins. Primera, according to the company, will be the first long-haul, low-cost carrier to fly from Brussels airport.
