The aircraft is still due for further testing but is on target for an October launch.


The carrier has seven of the Ultra Long Range aircraft in various stages of production at the Airbus facilities. The aircraft will operate on non-stop flights from Singapore to the United States – including the world’s longest commercial flight from Singapore to NYC.   The carrier will also operate the aircraft on routes to Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Airbus is currently reporting 882 firm orders for the A350 XWB from 46 customers across the globe.
