Singapore Airlines Adds New Dates for Restaurant A380 @Changi
First round of reservations for dining aboard the jumbo jet reportedly sold out in 30 minutes
Following the success of its first A380 dining experience, Singapore Airlines has now added two new dates to the unique Restaurant A380 @Changi schedule. According to Bloomberg, lunch on the initial dates of Oct. 24 and 25 sold out within 30 minutes of reservations being opened for booking.
The added dates for the dining experience are Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. In addition the airline also added a dinner option.
The airline says Restaurant A380 @Changi offers an exclusive dining experience inside an A380 aircraft. Diners can choose from special menus for each cabin class. Options include the airline’s signature international cuisine, as well as the dishes from its special Peranakan menu designed by Singaporean chef Shermay Lee.
Restaurant A380 is one of three Discover Your Singapore Airlines experiences. Over two weekends in November, Inside Singapore Airlines will offer behind-the-scenes tours of the carrier’s training facilities.
A third Singapore Air experience is SIA@Home which gives customers an SIA in-flight dining experience delivered to their own home, with a choice of 10 menus featuring exclusive First Class and Business Class meals, complete with wine or champagne.
