Swoop, the Canadian ultra-low cost carrier, has announced new services on its winter schedule. The Calgary-based airline plans nonstop service between Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Kingston Norman Manley International Airport (KIN) in Jamaica begins Dec. 8, 2021.
In addition the carrier has also resumed service between Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Jamaica’s Montego Bay Sangster International Airport (MBJ). Swoop is offering nonstop service to Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) this winter from both Edmonton International Airport (EIA) and Toronto. Los Cabos joins Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, and Mazatlán as the carrier’s fourth Mexican destination.
Other destinations on Swoop’s winter schedule include new service beginning in December between Winnipeg Richardson International Airport (YWG) and Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB). Orlando Sanford marks the fourth sun-destination for the airline, joining Phoenix Mesa, Cancun, and Puerto Vallarta, with flights to these three set to begin in November.
“We are thrilled to expand our winter schedule just in time for our travelers in Toronto and Edmonton to book that long-awaited vacation,” said Bert van der Stege, head of commercial and finance. “We are pleased to be offering even more affordable travel options to Canadians, while strengthening our position as Canada’s ultra-low-cost carrier with the most flights to popular sun destinations.”
