Cambria Debuts in Suburban Detroit
Rapid US expansion continues with opening of the brand’s fifth new hotel since June
Cambria Hotels continues its rapid expansion across the country with the opening of the Cambria Hotel Detroit-Shelby Township in Michigan. The four-story, 98-room hotel features multi-purpose indoor and outdoor spaces for work or relaxation, including an indoor heated pool and state-of-the-art fitness center.
Food and beverage options include on-site dining at Verona by Fabio Viviani, as well as to-go options. Guest rooms have design forward fixtures, abundant lighting and spa-style bathrooms with Bluetooth mirrors.
The property also offers 1,500 square feet of multi-function meeting and event space.
The Detroit property is the brand’s second hotel to open in Michigan, joining the Cambria Hotel Traverse City, while the Cambria Hotel Detroit Downtown is expected to open in 2022. This marks the upscale brand’s fifth new hotel since June, joining properties in Greenville, SC, Madeira Beach, FL, Ocean City, MD, and Sonoma, CA.
Cambria Hotels is the upscale brand in the Choice Hotels International portfolio, with some 60 hotels across the US.
