Capital One recently opened a highly anticipated new lounge at Denver International Airport (DEN) on November 3. This lounge is the third one for Capital One, with the first one being launched in Washington-Dulles (IAD) earlier this year, followed by Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) in 2021.

The lounge is now open to visitors and offers a comfortable and relaxing space for travelers to enjoy before their flight.

The facility covers 10,800 square feet and offers a range of attractive features and typical Colorado characteristics. It can be found on the mezzanine level near gate 34 of Concourse A.

The new lounge is particularly convenient for Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, and most international carriers’ passengers. However, those departing from Concourse B or C must take an underground shuttle train to reach it.

The lounge is currently in a soft opening phase from November 3-12 and has contracted hours of operation from 9 am to 7 pm. Beginning November 13, the lounge will be open daily from 5 am to 9 pm.

Dazzling array of features and amenities

Travelers who have enjoyed Capital One’s other lounges will find a similarly designed layout at their Denver outpost, which is aesthetically pleasing and thoughtfully arranged.

Capital One has successfully created a peaceful oasis in a bustling terminal, with ample floor-to-ceiling windows that allow natural light to illuminate the space.

To enter the lounge, head up the escalator and check in at the reception desk, located right in front of the lounge’s grab-and-go food station, offering jarred salads, granola bowls, fresh juices, and other quick options for those in a hurry.

Upon entering the lounge, visitors seeking a full range of amenities should head to their right, where they will be greeted by a stunning 360-degree bar lined with stools. The fully stocked bar offers a range of local favorites, including cold brew on tap from La Colombe and beers from local breweries.

To the left of the bar, there is a buffet area with a wide range of hot and cold food options. The selection includes everything from breakfast sandwiches to sloppy joes, ensuring that even the fussiest of eaters will find something to enjoy.

The seating areas around the bar come in different sizes, and the walkways between them are generously sized to accommodate passengers with carry-on luggage.

Towards the back of the lounge, there is another seating area with different seating arrangements. This area has a station for coffee, tea, water, and other refreshments, so customers do not need to go back to the main bar area.

While the public seating areas offer ample room for travelers, some people may require privacy. Capital One has catered to them admirably by offering two individual workspaces with private doors and a small conference room for business meetings, all subject to reservation.

There are also two phone booths available on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, there is a small private family room with comfortable seating and a dedicated changing table stocked with wipes, diapers, and a bottle warmer.

If you need to recharge, you can use the lounge’s relaxation rooms. These rooms have comfortable reclining pods and low lighting, and the ceilings mimic the Coloradan night sky. They are perfect for passengers seeking a brief respite from the airport’s hustle and bustle. You can enquire at the reception desk about the relaxation rooms, which can be used for up to 30 minutes in one sitting.

Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card and Venture X Business cardholders can now enjoy unlimited access to all Capital One lounges for themselves and up to two guests, free of charge. However, if you want to bring more than two guests along with you, each additional guest will cost you $45.
