CLMBR Connected Coming to Four Seasons in 2021

New vertical climbing machines bring on-demand, digital instructor-led classes to exercise regime

CLMBR Connected, the world’s first connected vertical climbing machine, will be available starting in mid-2021 at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts worldwide. The ergonomic design is the first vertical climber to feature a large-format touch display with on-demand, instructor-led classes.

“Unlike bikes, treadmills and rowers, CLMBR has less impact on the joints while providing the most efficient calorie burn per minute of any machine in the marketplace,” said Avrum Elmakis, founder and CEO of CLMBR. “CLMBR disrupts how people work out and offers something new in a segment that has not seen a lot of meaningful innovation.”

The patent-pending design features an integrated audio system that can fill an entire room with sound to enhance the user’s excitement (should you find yourself alone in the fitness facility). It also offers a companion app to display key metrics, including vertical feet climbed and workout targets reached.

CLMBR Connected replaces the traditional but obtrusive center pole of other climbers with a large format touchscreen display. Wellness-focused hotel guests can take advantage of pre-loaded tutorials for a quick workout and use CLMBR’s companion app to track their progress on-the-go.

The addition of the CLMBR Connected machines to Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is part of an emerging collaboration trend between fitness brands and hotel chains. Recently Kempinski Hotels announced it would be offering Pelaton bikes as an in-room exercise option in some of its German hotels.
