Encore Boston Harbor opened its doors yesterday and the Iconic high rise originally conceived by Steve Wynn advanced a new kind of luxury hospitality to New England area. The opening of the 3 million-square-foot, 33-acre Encore Boston Harbor casino-resort on the banks of the Mystic River in Everett could be the start of a formidable entertainment district only a short hop from the buzz of State Street.

The resort features a 210,000-square-foot casino; 15 dining and lounge venues; 671 guest rooms and suites; 50,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space; an ultra-premium spa; and a four-season, six-acre Harborwalk with pedestrian and bike paths, picnic and viewing areas, gazebos, waterfront dining, and plenty of floral gardens and green space. At $2.6 billion, Encore Boston Harbor is the country’s most expensive resort development of 2019.
