Hyatt Place Partners with Gopuff for Guest Deliveries

The program, which is starting at more than a dozen hotels, lets guests order products with free delivery in 30 minutes

Hyatt has announced a collaboration with Gopuff, a delivery platform for consumer products. Starting immediately at more than a dozen Hyatt Place locations, guests can order drinks, snacks, over-the-counter medications, home and baby products and even alcohol in select markets.

Once the order is placed, the items are delivered in just 30 minutes from Gopuff’s local micro-fulfillment centers. Through the collaboration, guests at participating Hyatt Place hotels will get:

  • Free delivery on every Gopuff order
  • Access to quick and free delivery of thousands of products
  • $10 credit for the first two orders ($20 total) for guests using Gopuff for the first time
  • Fresh meals delivered at pilot hotels in Nashville and Phoenix

According to a recent Hyatt survey, 60 percent of travelers have forgotten to pack an item (e.g., toiletries and first aid) for a trip. Based on that data, Hyatt and Gopuff identified the most-often-forgotten and most-likely-to-purchase items and created in-app categories such as Travel Essentials, Spa Retreat, Office on the Go, and more.

The app gives guests have easy, quick access to the items they need most while traveling.

Emily Wright, global brand leader for Hyatt said that as travelers adjust their routines and seek new ways to travel safely, “it’s important for us to keep the needs and wellbeing of our guests at the forefront of everything we do.”
