JW Marriott Brand Premieres in Charlotte

The 381-room hotel is part of the Ally Charlotte Center, a development with office space, retail areas and urban gardens

Marriott International has announced the opening of its first JW Marriott hotel in Charlotte, NC. The hotel is part of the Ally Charlotte Center, a development in Uptown Charlotte that features a pedestrian-friendly community with office space, retail areas and urban gardens.

The 381-room hotel is housed in a 23-story building located across the street from the Charlotte Convention Center and close to attractions such as the Bank of America Stadium.

Inside, the hotel’s decor features plenty of natural light, with floor-to-ceiling windows in all the rooms and most of the hotel’s 22,000 square feet of meeting space offering views of the city, stadium and greater Charlotte.

Amenities include a spa with six treatment suites, a 24-hour fitness center and open-air rooftop swimming pool with private cabanas.

Food and beverage concepts include Dean’s Italian Steakhouse, with a show kitchen and wagyu beef on the menu, Caroline’s Oyster Bar, and the fifth-floor Aura Rooftop bar which offers botanical craft cocktails, boutique wines and small bites.

The hotel giant continues to grow its luxury JW Marriott brand, with the opening in February of its 100th property, the 519-room JW Marriott Tampa Water Street. The JW Marriott portfolio is represented in over 30 countries and territories worldwide.

“With the opening of JW Marriott Charlotte, we will make sure every detail is taken care of,” Bruce Rohr, global brand leader at JW Marriott, said. “With thoughtful details throughout the property, holistic programming and an array of wellness offerings, guests will be encouraged to experience every moment to the fullest.”
